Message from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland

We’re absolutely delighted to have been chosen as Davidsons Chemists’ Charity of the Year in 2020 and cannot wait to get started! We’re extremely grateful to everyone who supported us in the charity vote before Christmas.

Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland provides help and support every day to ensure that everyone can live the life they want to. We provide vital services Scotland-wide to support people and their families so that they can rebuild their lives and get back to doing the things that are important to them.

This partnership is an amazing opportunity to increase awareness of our services including our Nurse-led Advice Line, which celebrates its 25th birthday this year; to share experience in how to reduce the risks of being diagnosed with one of our conditions; and to raise funds so we can continue to support the one in five people who live with the effects of a chest, heart or stroke condition across Scotland.

We cannot wait to start working with Davidson’s Chemists’ incredible staff and are really looking forward to supporting them in their fundraising through 2020!

Message from Davidsons

At Davidsons Chemists, we are absolutely delighted that another invaluable charity has won our public vote to become our Charity of the Year 2020. Chest Heart & Stoke Scotland provide vital services to support people and their familiar who are living with the effect of serious chest and heart conditions and stoke, striving to ensure #NoLifeHalfLived.

At Davidsons Chemists, we are trilled to be supporting such an invaluable charity. It is with this that we are very excited to start fundraising throughout 2020 in order to make a valuable impact. As similar to previous years our branches will host fundraising events both large and small and we will keep you up to date with these via our social media! We will also have collection cans on the counters of all our 39 branches across Scotland (those pennies really do add up!).

We are going to set an initial fundraising target of £15,000.
